Siberian breaks

Сегодняшний пост я хочу посвятить тексту песни MGMT - Siberian Breaks. Если остальные мои посты и читает пара призраков, то этот точно поленятся читать даже они. Ну да ладно.
Песня длится 12:09, текста много, и он идеален. Когда-то я составляла список любимых текстов песен, но я не знала ещё тогда о тексте этой песни. В смысле my english sucks, сама я расслышать смогла мало, а перевести тем более. Вчера перевела, и я до сих пор под впечатлением *____*
И вообще, песня невероятная. Я тут выпишу пару (ну на самом деле не пару, хорошо, на самом деле я скопировала больше половины) любимых цитат, и, наверное, всё на сегодня.

Любимые тексты песен

Я довольно давно хотела сделать такой пост. Список текстов песен, в которых идеальны все слова. То есть таких, конечно, очень много, все и не вспомнить. Но если я не вспомню, значит, не так тронуло. Есть такие крутые, такие красивые, трогательные, которые я знаю наизусть, которые можно полностью разделить на цитаты. Не те тексты песен, в которых мне понравилась одна фраза, а те, которые совершенны. Отобрала самые-самые-самые любимые.
Radiohead - Let Down. Нет, правда. Самый-самый любимый текст. Он гениален. "One day I'm going to grow wings, a chemical reaction, hysterical and useless."
Radiohead - Fitter Happier. Я делала даже отдельный пост. "A pig. In a cage. On antibiotics."
Paramore - Let The Flames Begin. Я вообще очень люблю их тексты песен. "This is how we'll dance when, when they try to take us down, this is how we'll sing it. This is how we'll stand when, when they burn our houses down." Я тащусь.
Muse - Starlight. Потому что это самая лучшая песня в мире, и она идеальна. Я бы поместила сюда все тексты песен Muse, ну никто в этом не сомневается, да? "Starlight, I will be chasing the starlight until the end of my life, I don't know if it's worth it anymore."
Blur - Clover Over Dover. Я уже писала сюда. "So when you push me over, don't bury me, I'm not worth anything." А каким голосом он это поёт *О*
Evanescence - Even In Death. Ну я говорила, я с детства знаю все тексты их песен наизусть. "Even in death our love goes on. Some say I'm crazy for my love, oh, my love. But no bonds can hold me from your side, oh my love. They don't know you can't leave me, they don't hear you singing to me. People die, but real love is forever." Знаю, цитата слишком большая, и она всё равно не может описать всё великолепие этой песни и её текста, но ааа почему я так тащусь *О* Вообще обожаю их тексты песен, блин.
Evanescence - Hello. Песня вроде как посвящена её погибшей сестре. "Has no one told you she's not breathing?" Достаточно депрессивные у них тексты песен, но блин, какая красота.
Flyleaf - This Close. Вне конкуренции. Как история. Люблю тексты песен, которые рассказывают истории. "I had a dream that we were dead, but we pretended we still lived. With no regrets, we never bled, and we took everything life could give. And came up broken, empty handed in the end."
Flyleaf - Circle. "His beautiful arm is bloody and cut off, his heart ripped out to show me he loved me. I left his arms empty and tied, outstretched for me until he died." Грустно (ну по крайней мере мне), но как же мне нравится *О*

Evanescence - So Close. "I've spent so much time throwing rocks at your window that I never even knocked on the front door." И этим всё сказано.

Kasabian - Thick As Thieves. "There we were thick as thieves, frightened by shadows and the autumn leaves. Goodbye, my sweet, goodbye, goodbye." И ещё много всего красивого.

My Chemical Romance - Early Sunsets Over Monroeville. Нет, я не могу не добавить это в список. "But does anyone notice there's a corpse in this bed?"

My Chemical Romance - Welcome To The Black Parade. Идеально, правда. He said, "Son, when you grow up, would you be the saviour of the broken, the beaten and the damned?" He said, "Will you defeat them, your demons, and all the non-believers, the plans that they have made?"

The Killers - Spaceman. "You know that I was hoping, that I could leave this star-crossed world behind, but when they cut me open, I guess I changed my mind. And you know I might have just flown too far from the floor this time, 'cause they're calling me by my name."

Radiohead - Thinking About You. Хватит добавлять в этот список всякое говно. Я уже итак его сократила. Но я не могу убрать отсюда эту песню. Она проста как, ээ, не знаю даже, с чем сравнить. Обычная песня о любви. Но почему мне кажется это таким красивым, почему мне так нравится? "Been thinking about you, and there's no rest. Shit, I still love you, still see you in bed. I bled and I bleed to please you."

Radiohead - A Wold At The Door. Тексты песен Radiohead гениальны. И их тут слишком много. "I keep the wolf from the door, but he calls me up, calls me on the phone, tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up, steal all my children if I don't pay the ransom, but I'll never see them again if I squeal to the cops."

Radiohead - Weird Fishes/Arpeggi. Сама песня и её текст - как море, рыбы, как волнующаяся  вода, как рябь (ну я закрутила). "Everybody leaves if they get the chance, and this is my chance."

Radiohead - Codex. Просто и, по-моему (только по-моему), невероятно красиво. "Sleight of hand, jump off the end into a clear lake, no one around. The water's clear and innocent."

Arcade Fire - We Used To Wait. Ну я же говорила недавно, что текст этой песни добавляется в список моих самых любимых. "I used to write, I used to write letters, I used to sign my name. But by the time we met the times had already changed. So I never wrote a letter, I never took my true heart, I never wrote it down. [...] I'm gonna write a letter to my true love, I'm gonna sign my name. Like a patient on a table I wanna walk again, gonna move to the pain."
MGMT - Siberian Breaks.Добавила эту песню в список несколько позже написания поста, ну ладно. Песня длится больше 12 минут, поэтому текст длинный, но ведь великолепия много не бывает *О* "The low tide is telling me when it's over to breathe in everything exposed. And comes back to cover me with a blanket."
Muse - Guiding Light. Я лошара, и добавила эту песню в список позже, потому что забыла про неё, ну как так можно? "Pure hearts stumble in my hands, they crumble, fragile and stripped to the core, I can't hurt you anymore."
